Description of Walk


This classic Snowdonia high level walk takes in the summits of Glyder Fach (994m/3280 feet) and Glyder Fawr (999m/3297 feet) as well as the famous cantilever stone before descending off track down towards the Pen-y-Gwyryd hotel where the successful 1953 Everest Team stayed whilst training for their expedition. You'll enjoy ascending the imposing Twll Du, in Cwm Idwal before walking over the rocky moonscape that is the Glyderau.
