Description of Walk


This walk explores the Gwydir forest north of Betws-y-Coed , finishing in the historic market town of Llanwrst in the Conwy Valley. Starting from Betws-y-coed we climb up to the Nant plateau through a landscape fashioned by mines and pine trees, before turning back in to the forest for Llyn y Parc before heading on for the historic Gwydir castle. We finish along the banks of the river Conwy ending up at Llanwrst and the historic building of Tu-hwnt-i'r-bont.
