Description of Walk

A lovely walk, heading up into the Gwydir forest, south of Betws-y-Coed. The walk leads us to Llyn Elsi with fine views into the mountains, including Moel Siabod, before taking in the old quarry village of Rhiwddolion and its' echoes of history before heading on to Ty Hyll (The Ugly House),through the artist's wood , and then following the Afon Llugwy (River Llugwy) back to Betws-y-coed. This walk encounters all the influences on this beautiful area and will leave you wanting to do it again!
