Description of Walk

A classic mountain walk in the Glyderau, taking us through the beautiful Cwm Idwal and rocky track up to Twll Du before enjoying the summit of Y Garn (947m/3125 feet) with fine views across Snowdonia and the Ogwen valley. From Y Garn, we continue to the second summit of Foel Goch, the red hill, before descending off the beaten track, back to Idwal cottage. Watch out for the Welsh black cattle!
